About Woodland Crafts...
Thank you for your interest in our events. Please have a look at our calendar of confirmed events for 2013 and come and see us wherever you can. We are currently making arrangements for extra events so please check back in a while and see what we’ve added to the diary!
Our events are intended to offer an entertaining day out as well as the chance to see and buy some amazing and unique products. Our exhibitors and traders are subject to strict guidelines so you can buy from them with confidence. Please let us know if you have any questions or if we can help in any way.
Woodland Crafts are well-established organisers of top quality events. For more than twenty years we have been offering visitors, customers and exhibitors the chance to be involved in a wide range of Craft Shows, Craft Markets, Country Shows, Wood Fairs, Garden events and Shopping Centre promotions. We have also worked with many town and city councils to provide vibrant events in town centre situations. Our Craft Markets and Farmers Markets have been popular attractions in many places in the south and our craft marquees have been included in various major shows. We are always pleased to talk to town centre managers and councillors about ideas they have so you may find us in your town! Look out for our events and please come and join us.
A bit about our background . . . As manufacturers of garden furniture, we had been exhibitors at craft shows and country shows for a number of years, but we felt that many events were not of the quality that both the public and the exhibitors themselves deserved. So, in 1992 we decided to organise our first event. Since then, we have been proud to present hundreds of events, large and small, in Hampshire, Sussex, Wiltshire, Dorset, and Surrey. We have even been known to cross the channel for events in France, supporting “twin towns” and working with town and city councils.
Our events include Craft Shows in wonderful venues including historic Lancing College in West Sussex and the imposing Fort Purbrook near Portsmouth in Hampshire.
You may have seen our Craft Marquees at large events such as the Rudgwick Steam & Country Show and at the Shoreham Airshow.
Craft Markets and Garden Markets are a popular feature of our events calendar and you may have seen our distinctive stalls in pedestrianised precincts in many town centres. Frequently working in association with Town Centre Management teams and local authorities, we bring a bright and exciting addition to the high street scene. The Chichester Garden Market is a bright and vibrant burst of colour and activity in the heart of Chichester and the 2013 market is set to be the biggest so far. Don’t miss it if you enjoy your garden!
In 2011, we were asked to organise an exciting event at Queen Elizabeth Country Park - our South Downs National Park Wood Fair in July. This was an amazing success and was very successful in 2012 too. We are very pleased to be arranging an even bigger and better South Downs Wood Fair in 2013. The Wood Fair is about far more than just wood so do check the details and come and have a great day out with the family! We had great support from the South Downs National Park Authority, The Forestry Commission and Hampshire County Council. We are looking forward to working with them again and, as always, with the management and staff at the superb Queen Elizabeth Country Park, near Petersfield. Our sincere thanks go out to them!
Once again, in December we shall be bringing our Chichester Market to Chichester's city centre streets. After great success in the past, this superb festive event will again be the high spot in our winter events calendar. You’ll find everything you need to complete your Christmas shopping!
Our distinctive blue and cream indoor display stands have frequently been in pride of place in many prestigious shopping centres. We decided to cut back on our shopping centre promotions in order to concentrate on other events but we are always ready to consider suggestions from respected centres.
Please take a few moments to browse our web site and discover for yourself the fabulous events and days out that we organise. Thanks again for your interest. We hope to see you soon.
