Woodland Crafts - a little bit of history...
Woodland Crafts have been organising top quality Craft Shows, Craft Markets and Country Shows in southern England since 1992.
As manufacturers of garden furniture, we had been exhibitors at shows for a number of years, but felt that many events were not of the quality that both the public and the exhibitors themselves deserved.
We decided to organise our first event, and so began Woodland Crafts.
Since that time, we have been proud to present hundreds of events, large and small, in Hampshire, Sussex, Wiltshire, Dorset, and Surrey.
Our events include Craft Shows in wonderful venues including historic Lancing College in Sussex and the imposing Fort Purbrook near Portsmouth in Hampshire.
You will also see our Craft Marquees at large events such as the International Kite Festival in Southsea and at the Shoreham Air Show.
Craft Markets have been a popular feature of our events calendar and you may have seen our distinctive craft stalls in pedestrianised precincts in many town centres. Frequently working in association with Town Centre Management teams and local authorities, we bring a bright and exciting addition to the high street scene. Recently our Craft Markets at Whiteley Village Outlet Shopping centre have proved extremely popular with crowds flocking to the centre.
Our Country Shows are also ever-popular as a great family day out.
Visitors to the Queen Elizabeth Country Park Show each July have seen a fantastic range of entertainment and displays - everything from falconry displays and shire horses to circus shows and steam engine rides.
Shopping opportunities are extensive with our crafts marquee and 'Shopping Mall' as well as the 'Food Hall' and a great variety of trade stands.
Our distinctive blue and cream indoor display stands have also been in pride of place in many prestigious shopping centres.
We were also very pleased to take some of our exhibitors to France on behalf of Portsmouth City Council and again for Eastleigh Borough Council to promote twinning connections.
