Woodland Crafts Woodlands Country Show

The Woodlands Country Show

Held at the Royal Victoria Country Park, Southampton

We are very excited to announce that our ever-popular Country Show is on the move for 2015, now being held at the Royal Victoria Country Park, Southampton.

The Woodlands Country Show 2015 is set to be a great weekend with so much to see and do. The show is packed with exhibits, activities and entertainment for all. Families will be able to experience a fun packed day out with an amazing range of countryside activities. There’s everything from falconry displays to ferret racing and from chutneys to chainsaws! There are live demonstrations and “have-a-go” areas. The Crafts marquee and trade stands will be offering a wealth of treasures and there’s a wonderful array of food and drink to tempt you. A family show is not complete without some entertainment, music and refreshments. There really is a huge variety of delightful attractions to appeal to both rural and urban tastes. This is a show not to be missed!

For this year’s show we’ve brought together the best features of all our previous events to create something special. With over 500 events, 20 years of experience and a great team behind us, we can’t wait to bring Hampshire and the surrounding areas another fabulous event in 2015.

Building on the many successful years with our “Queen Elizabeth Country Park Show” and our “South Downs Wood Fair & Country Show”, we’re delighted that 2015 finds us growing in size and on the move to a great new location, Royal Victoria Country Park, also in Hampshire. We have given the event a new name, “Woodlands Country Show”. We’re giving the show a fabulous new look for 2015, without losing any of the great things from our previous events and incorporating some great new and exciting extras.

Royal Victoria Country Park is set in a beautiful, picturesque location with woodland and parkland on one side and the shores of Southampton Water on the other. Our showground is situated alongside the iconic chapel, the only remains of the original Royal Victoria Hospital and overlooking the fantastic scenery across the water.

This is a dog-friendly show (all dogs must be kept on leads at all times).

The organisers are very pleased to be supporting two great local charities at this year’s event. Smile4Wessex – raising funds for Wessex Neurological Centre and Stubbington Ark – RSPCA Solent branch animal shelter.

Both charities will have prominent stands at this year’s event, raising awareness, offering information and advice about what they do and how you can get involved.
